KEVORA TALENT

Construction & Engineering recruitment

A useful construction or engineering brief needs to explain the work, the setting and the responsibilities. We ask about the project and the people around the role before recommending an introduction.

A CLOSER LOOK

Know the project behind the position

A job title does not tell you whether the work is on a live site, in a design office or split between several projects. Nor does it explain the programme, the client expectations or the support a person will have when something changes. Those details matter to an employer making an appointment and to someone deciding whether to move.

We support construction, engineering and M&E recruitment across technical, commercial, project and management roles. We discuss the type and stage of the project, relevant experience, travel and the responsibilities that sit with the appointment before making an introduction.

01

Start with the scope

Tell us whether the work is on site, in an office, in a workshop or across several locations. We discuss project stage, reporting lines and the decisions the person will be expected to make. Where a qualification, registration or site requirement is essential, it should be clear in the brief.

02

Mechanical and electrical roles

M&E covers different disciplines and working environments. We establish the relevant systems, project experience and technical responsibilities rather than treating a job title as a full description. Travel, working patterns and the likely length of an assignment are part of the conversation.

03

A role that makes sense on both sides

For employers, we explain how a candidate's experience relates to the work. For candidates, we discuss the employer, location and expectations before an introduction. Based in Northern Ireland, we support permanent and contract recruitment across the UK and Ireland.

FOR EMPLOYERS

If you need someone on the team

We want to understand what they will be walking into. Tell us about the project, reporting line, programme and decisions they will own. We will clarify essential qualifications and site requirements with you, alongside pay, travel and working arrangements. If the brief involves several locations or an early start on site, that should be clear before anyone makes a commitment.

FOR CANDIDATES

If you are considering your next project

Your next move might be about a different kind of project, a clearer route into management or less time travelling between sites. We will discuss those priorities with you and explain what is known about the employer and assignment. Permanent and contract opportunities should both come with a clear account of the work, the location and the expectations.
