For clients

What doesyour team need?

You may have a detailed brief, or simply know the team needs help. We’ll start with the work, the people and what a successful appointment would change for you.

Talk to us about hiring ↗

A conversation about the team comes first.

Start with the real need

What needs doing? Why are you hiring now? Who will the new person work with? Those answers help us understand the appointment before we start looking.

We’ll discuss salary, working arrangements, essential experience and where there’s room to be flexible. If the brief needs more thought, we’ll work through it with you.

Know why someone is on your shortlist

You need enough information to decide who is worth meeting. We’ll explain why we’re recommending each person, what we’ve discussed with them and anything you may want to explore further.

We want the interview to build on a useful conversation, rather than start from scratch.

Honest advice as the search develops

If the search is proving difficult, we’ll tell you what we’re finding. It may be the salary, the location or a combination of requirements that is narrowing the field.

We’ll explain the options and keep you informed, so you can decide what to hold firm on and what you might be willing to change.

Still involved after the offer

An accepted offer is a good moment, but there is still a person joining a new team. We keep in touch as they settle in and want to hear how things are going.

If something needs attention, talk to us. We’ll help work through what has happened and the next steps available.

Tell us where things stand.

Send a brief if you have one. If you’re still working out what the team needs, we can start with a conversation.
