KEVORA TALENT

Accountancy & Finance recruitment

A finance appointment needs to suit the work today and the responsibility someone will take on. We help employers define that requirement and candidates understand the team and expectations behind it.

A CLOSER LOOK

Understand the finance team, not just the title

A finance role can look straightforward on paper and feel very different once month-end arrives. Team size, systems, reporting deadlines and the condition of the work being handed over all affect what the job asks of someone. We want those details understood before a candidate or employer decides to proceed.

We work across accountancy and finance support, qualified appointments and financial leadership. The conversation starts with the work: keeping transactions moving, producing useful reporting, supporting commercial decisions or taking responsibility for a function. We then look at the experience and support the appointment needs.

01

Understand the finance function

We discuss reporting deadlines, systems, team structure and the purpose of the appointment. Supporting a finance team, managing a reporting cycle and leading a function call for different experience, even when a brief uses similar language.

02

Be clear about responsibility

Qualifications and technical experience are important, but so are the decisions a person will own and the support around them. We ask about reporting lines, workload during busy periods and any planned changes to the business or systems.

03

From support roles to leadership

We work on permanent, temporary and contract appointments, with executive search for senior leadership and C-suite roles. Speak with us about hiring or about the kind of finance work you want next, in Northern Ireland or elsewhere across the UK and Ireland.

FOR EMPLOYERS

If there is a gap in your finance team

We will ask about the reporting cycle, systems, qualifications needed and why the role is available. Is the priority to steady a busy function, improve reporting or support a period of change? That helps us explain the opportunity properly and assess relevant experience. We can discuss permanent appointments, temporary cover, contract work and executive search for financial leadership.

FOR CANDIDATES

If you are weighing up a move

Your next role may need to offer more than a different salary. Study support, exposure to the wider business, workload at busy periods and a manager who has time for you can all matter. Tell us what you are looking for. We will discuss the responsibilities, the reporting line and the support available so you can make an informed decision.
