KEVORATALENTRecruitment Specialist
Newry, United Kingdom · Permanent
About the business
Kevora Talent is recruiting a Recruitment Specialist for a growing business in the Newry area.
Our client recruits across a range of departments and project requirements. As the business develops, it is looking to strengthen how it attracts candidates, supports new starters and keeps people engaged once they join.
You’ll work closely with the Recruitment Manager, HR, marketing and hiring managers. The role combines hands-on recruitment with opportunities to contribute to employer branding, early careers and employee retention.
The role
You’ll help keep recruitment moving from the first conversation about a vacancy through to offer and onboarding. That means understanding what managers need, finding suitable candidates and making sure people receive clear communication throughout the process.
Alongside day-to-day vacancies, you’ll support work that helps potential applicants get a better understanding of the business and its career opportunities.
What you’ll be doing
- Work with hiring managers to understand vacancies, agree priorities and coordinate recruitment activity.
- Source candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, referrals and professional networks.
- Screen applications, arrange interviews and keep candidates informed about feedback and next steps.
- Help create job adverts, social content and recruitment campaigns with the marketing team.
- Support onboarding and gather feedback that can help improve the employee experience and retention.
- Help coordinate graduate, apprenticeship, placement and work-experience recruitment, building relationships with education and training providers.
- Keep recruitment records and reporting accurate, handle candidate information appropriately and suggest practical improvements to the process.
What you’ll need
- At least two years’ experience in recruitment, talent attraction or recruitment coordination.
- Experience supporting recruitment from vacancy advertising through to offer and onboarding.
- Confidence using LinkedIn and digital recruitment channels to find and engage candidates.
- Strong writing skills for job adverts, candidate messages and recruitment content.
- Good organisation and the ability to manage several vacancies and changing priorities.
- The ability to build effective working relationships with candidates, managers and colleagues.
Useful, but not essential
- Experience supporting early-careers programmes.
- Recruitment experience in a technical or project-led environment.
- Experience supporting recruitment across multiple locations or international markets.
